Certification Possibilities

PMI - Program Management Professional (PgMP)®

Prerequisites

  • Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate´s degree or the global equivalent)
  • 6,000 hours of project management experience
  • 10,5000 hours of program management experience

or

  • Four-year degree
  • 6,000 hours of project management experience
  • 6,000 hours of program management experience

 

Certification

  • First phase of evaluation is panel review
  • The certification exam has 170 multiple-choice questions and four hours to complete it
  • To maintain the PgMP, 60 professional development units (PDUs) must be earned every three year

MSP Practitioner

MSP Practitioner training

You can self-study for the MSP Practitioner certification or you can take a training course with an AXELOS Accredited Training Organization (ATO).

Target Audience

Project managers, business change managers, experts and advisers working within a program office as well as other specialist/ governance roles involved in supporting programs following the MSO guidance. This level is also suitable for SROs and those wishing to pursue higher level certification (e-g- Program Managers) and those aspiring to become program management professionals in the future.

Examination Format

  • Objective testing
  • Eight questions per paper, 80 marks available in total
  • 40 marks required to pass -50%
  • Two-and-a-half hours duration
  • Open book (only the MSP Guide is allowed)

MSP Advanced Practitioner

MSP Practitioner training

You can self-study for the MSP Practitioner certification or you can take a training course with an AXELOS Accredited Training Organization (ATO).

Target Audience

The MSP Advanced Practitioner certification is appropriate for a variety of roles, including (but not limited to), SROs, Program Managers, those appointed to lead a portfolio or program support function, BCMs and other program support and management professionals.

Examination Format

  • Eassy-based
  • Two questions per paper, 75 marks available in total
  • 38 marks required to pass -50%
  • Three hours´duration
  • Open-book (other material than the MSP Guide, such as notes or copies of presentations can be used, but use of electronic aids is not permitted).
